COVID-19 Updates

21 March 2020

We created a YouTube Channel for Grace Bible Church of Boise.  We will release prerecorded worship services that are available for viewing at the normal worship time (10 a.m.).

The worship team will lead worship (feel free to sing praises at home!) and Pastor Joe will provide the message.  We hope you are able to join us as we are temporarily dispersed.  Please remember to continue praying for each other and for those in our community.

You can view the service from any device that has YouTube installed, (Smart phone/computer/some modern televisions).  If you are having any issues getting to the channel or viewing, after consulting your children or you friends children – please let us know :- ).

We understand we may face technical challenges as we come up to speed with this capability.  We are grateful to have the ability to utilize this technology to continue “gathering” together, even if it is over the internet.

The Grace Bible Church of Boise channel can be found by clicking here.  A link is also available on our church app.

We have created a Facebook group for our church community in which members can reach out to one another for supplies and aid. If you do not have Facebook and are in need of supplies, please contact the church and we can forward your request. The group page can be found here:

In an effort to be pro-active and join with the rest of our community to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we have made the decision to cancel our Sunday morning gatherings. We have also chosen to cancel all other church groups and activities effective immediately. These include home groups, bible studies, youth groups, and any other ministry event. These cancellations will be in place for at least the next two weeks. We are preparing to provide online opportunities for Sunday morning worship services and messages. Links to these will be made available on our website and phone app. During this time office hours will remain the same. Prayer requests can be submitted through our church app or by email, and the pastoral staff and elders are also available by phone or email.

We will continue to provide updates through our website.

In all of this, prayerfully continue to place your trust and hope in the sovereign God we serve. Find peace in remembering we have faith in a God who is all-knowing, all-powerful, everywhere, merciful, gracious and everlasting. Let us continue to use this opportunity before us to draw near to God, show love to one another, and reach out with the gospel to people around us who may be experiencing fear and uncertainty.

In Christ’s Love

Grace Bible Church Elders

16 March 2020

Our board of elders is closely monitoring the information on the coronavirus. We are in a situation none of us has experienced before and things continue to change day by day. We will be updating our status concerning Sunday morning services.

As we live out these next few weeks or months please remember that 2 Tim 1:7 says, “for God did not give us a Spirit of fear but of power and love and self-control.” The Spirit of Christ dwells in us, therefore, we face this and all challenges with power, love, and self-control. This is a great opportunity for the church to be the hands and feet of Christ. There are people in our church and in our neighborhoods who are at high risk and may have locked themselves down in their home. If there is someone you know, take time to give them a call, let them know you’re thinking about them, and offer assistance so that they don’t have to go out.

Let’s use the opportunity before us to draw near to God, show love to one another, and reach out with the gospel to people around us who may be experiencing fear and uncertainty.

“God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear” (Psalm 46:1-2)
